Loch-Meadow Kindergarten is a morning preschool program for ages 18 months - Kindergarten. We are located in the Church of the Good Shepherd, surrounded by the Lochhaven and Meadowbrook neighborhoods from which the school took its name over 50 years ago. Our Director and owner is Mrs. Temple Richardson.
We are a small school of less than 90 children with a staff of 14 teachers. We pride ourselves on the warm family environment and nurturing we give the children in our care. We are a state licensed facility.
WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO SAY WE HAVE RECEIVED A 4-STAR RATING FROM SMART BEGINNINGS OF HAMPTON ROADS.

At Loch-Meadow we value learning by playing. Children move at their own pace with guidance and direction from the teachers and their peers. Children listen, learn, watch, participate and challenge themselves in areas they find interesting. By exposing children to many learning situations, the children learn and grow into thinking and active learners.
